In Q1-25, Kapstones completed the acquisition of a 118-room hotel in Houston, TX, formerly branded as a Hilton Garden Inn. Upon closing, Kapstones made the strategic decision to deflag the property and debut its new Kozy Hotels line. This Houston location marks the very first of the Kozy brand, representing the Company’s commitment to creating a distinctive, guest-focused lodging experience. Conveniently located less than 12 miles from George Bush Intercontinental Airport, the property not only expands Kapstones’ footprint in the Houston market—its second owned hotel in the city—but also serves as the launchpad for the Kozy portfolio, with additional properties already in the pipeline.
